Get to Know the DASI Team

John is the founder and majority shareholder of DASI, building the corporate infrastructure and proprietary inventory management software system from the ground up. He has over 25 years of aviation asset valuation, acquisition, management, marketing, and sales experience. In addition to his business acumen, he possesses extensive airframe and engine technical knowledge. John is a private pilot, and a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, the world’s premier peer network of CEOs.

Rhod has over 20 years of operations and transaction experience focused particularly in aerospace and defense with past companies including Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney and BAE Systems. He is a UK/U.S.dual national, an approved person under the UK Financial Conduct Authority andpreviously was the Chief Restructuring Officer at Aero. Hired by the Administrators (KPMG), Rhod led the restructuring of the business and arranged the sale to DASI in 2013. Rhod holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol in the UK and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.

Nick manages all aspects of the Operations team including Asset Management and IT. Nick possesses over 15 years of commercial aviation experience, having worked in a number of Customer Support, IT and Operations roles for Hubair, Tradewinds Aircraft Services, and STS Component Solutions.

Andrew is responsible for bringing continuous improvement to DASI, its customers, and the supply chain. Andrew has 20 years of senior management and executive level experience in growing and improving businesses within the commercial aviation sector. He has both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He has managed programs to introduce new components, run business units in major manufacturing companies, built, managed, and developed significant operations throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Ken leads DASI’s global finance team where he oversees the financial, accounting, tax, and treasury functions for the Company.  Ken possesses over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. Previously, he held senior finance and accounting roles at ATC Aerospace, Kellstrom Commercial Aerospace, and AAR. Ken holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Master’s Degree in Accounting. Ken is also a CPA in the state of Florida.

Ernie has 10 years of aviation accounting experience, with substantial experience with the demanding financial reporting required with a sophisticate dasset-based lender. Ernie previously worked in tax departments of several mid-size public accounting firms. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida International University, as well as a Master’s degree in Accounting from the Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University.

Louise brings to DASI 15 years of experience in aviation, starting in finance and then moving into a dual role managing strategic planning, legal, and reporting on partner programs, as well as heading the Global HR and payroll function. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Marketing and is SHRM qualified.

With 13 years of experience in sales operations and development Dave runs Global Sales for DASI. The sales group consists of the inside Salesforce, outside sales managers and directors, parts brokers, and customer service that are primarily out of the Miami, London, and Singapore offices.

Dave's experience comes from the Pharmaceutical and Waste industries specifically focused on new product launch to market and sales process improvements for fortune 500 companies.

Chris manages all aspects of the APU lease pool owned by DALI, including purchase, marketing, lease negotiations, repairs, logistics, and insurance for all APUs. Chris possesses over 16 years of commercial aviation experience, having worked in various asset management and purchasing roles for Hubair, Tradewinds Aircraft Services, Volvo Aero Services, and Mach 2 Corporation.

Collin is responsible for all marketing activities for the company and group activities in the Asia Pacific and EMEA region. He has 20 years of experience in business development and supply chain roles, including running aviation spares and inventory management businesses, working closely with airlines such as Qantas and All Nippon Airways, and MROs including Air Canada Technical Services, HAECO, and SR Technics.

Claus manages sales and business development activity in the Americas. Claus has over 20 years of aircraft marketing experience and has been directly involved in some of DASI’s most significant deals – including LAN and Republic. Claus was previously an investment advisor at Paine Webber and Merrill Lynch. 

Harp has over 16 years Aviation experience in numerous roles for British Airways. He is extremely knowledgeable of inventory management and commerical inventory trading. He served as chairperson for 777 pools for the IATP (International Airlines Technical pool), representing more than 50 Airlines. Also served as co - chair for SSC (Suppliers Services Committee), and founding member of the EALBF (European Airlines Loan Borrow Forum).

Joe manages business development for our regional aircraft programs and has almost 40 years of experience in the aviation industry. Having led Maintenance Repair Organizations and Airlines over his career, Joe also brings with him a high level of financial management and Lease experience from all perspectives

Nick manages business development for our Engine programs and has over 25 years of aviation experience, stemming from a long career at GE. Nick holds a Bachelors in Management and a Masters in Finance and is Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
